Additional information

Acute tests on all three trophic levels were performed to examine the aquatic toxicity of the test substance. The most sensitive organisms were green algae with an EC50 = 0.705 mg/L [NOEC = 0.188 mg/L] (BASF SE, 2015; study performed in the presence of humic acid), followed by fish (LC50 = 4.4 mg/L, CIBA-GEIGY 1984) and daphnids (8.58 mg/L, CIBA-GEIGY 1983). The EC50 value on microorganisms was determined to be greater than 100 mg/L (CIBA - GEIGY 1988). Furthermore, a chronic study on daphnids is available. The NOEC on the reproduction was determined to be 0.23 mg/L (Mitsubishi 2000).
