Additional information

For 2-dimethylaminoethyl acrylate, two studies on toxicity to fish are reported using two different fresh water species. The results indicate that 2-dimethylaminoethyl acrylate is of acute toxicity to fish. For instance, in a static GLP OECD guideline study using Oryzias latipes as test species a LC50 (96 h) of approx. 8.49 mg/L and a NOEC (96 h) of 6 mg/L were determined. A similar result is reported in a non GLP DIN 38 412 L15 study with Leuciscus idus measuring a LC50 (96 h) of 10.1 mg/L.
