Results and discussion

Results:
Well documented analytical results were generated under the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. 2005 to 2006 the background levels of Arsenic Total, Arsenic(V) acid, Arsenbetaine, Arsencholine, Arsenous (III) acid, Dimethylarsinic acid, Monomethylarsonic acid and Trimethylarsine acid were determined in human urine.
The geometric mean of the creatinine corrected total Arsenic content was: 9.15 µg/g of creatinine, maximum levels were found with non-hispanic blacks, here the upper limit of the 95th percentile confidence interval was 120 µg/g of creatinine.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
2005 to 2006 the background levels of Arsenic Total, Arsenic(V) acid, Arsenbetaine, Arsencholine, Arsenous (III) acid, Dimethylarsinic acid, Monomethylarsonic acid and Trimethylarsine acid were determined in human urine.
Total Arsenic (creatinine corrected) geometric mean: 9.15 µg/g of creatinine,
maximum levels: 95th percentile confidence interval of non-hispanic blacks: 120 µg/g of creatinine.
