Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Only for the highest test concentration of 1000 mg/L an inhibition rate of 11.4 % was found. Therefore the 3-hour EC50 was higher than 1000 mg/L. The 3-hour EC10 was measured to be 1000 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50 for microorganisms:
1 000 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for microorganisms:
1 000 mg/L

Additional information

One reliable study is available and was selected as key study. It was performed according to the OECD 209 guideline and under GLP conditions. Based on measured inhibition rates, the 3 -hour EC10 was determined to be 1000 mg/L. The determination of a 3 -hour EC20 and EC50 was not possible because less than 20 % inhibition was noted after three hours incubation up to the highest nominal test concentration of 1000 mg/L Nevertheless, the 3-hour EC50 was clearly higher than 1000 mg/L under the present test conditions,
