Additional information

According to Regulation (EC) No.1907/2006, Annex XI, Section 2, the testing regime may be adapted because testing is technically not feasible as a consequence of the properties of the substance.  The dry salt of cyanide has no partition coefficient, as it is no longer in the form of a salt when it is placed in water under normal conditions. Rather, the salt is converted to hydrogen cyanide, which has a partition coefficient of -0.25 at 20 °C.
