The rate constant for the reaction of BPA 2 PO vapour with photochemically generated hydroxyl radicals in the atmosphere has been estimated to be 83.26E-12 cm3.molecule-1.sec-1 at 25°C (AopWin v1.92). The half-life for a 12 -hour day (hydroxyl radical concentration of 1.5E6 molecule/cm3) is estimated to be 0.128 days. For reaction with ozone the model could not provide an estimate.
