Preliminary screening test

The pile ignited with a small yellow flame, which self-extinguished after two seconds without propagating combustion.

The result of the preliminary screening test obviated the need to perform the main test.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
The test material has been determined to be not highly flammable as it did not propagate combustion over the 200 mm of the preliminary screening test. The test material does not meet the criteria for classification according to EU classification system.
Executive summary:

Flammability was determined using methods specified in Commission Directive 92/69/EEC (which constitutes Annex V of Council Directive 67/548/EEC) (A10).The flammability of the test material has been determined to be not highly flammable. The test material does not meet the criteria for classification according to EU classification system.
