Based on the information from acute tests, daphnids can be considered as more sensitive to the substance than fish. For daphnids long term data from an analogue substance are available, covering the complete life-cycle. It can therefore be assumed, that a chronic study with fish would not provide any additional information for improving the risk assessment significantly. For this reason, and for reasons of animal welfare, a chronic study with fish is not provided.
