Description of key information

Under test conditions no biodegradation observed: 7% after 28 days (OECD 301D)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

The biodegradation of the substance was investigated in a ready biodegradability test according to EU method C.6 under GLP conditions (Hansonis-Jouleh, 1992). Effluent of a domestic sewage treatment plant was used as inoculum. Based on oxygen consumption 7% of degradation was observed after 28 days test duration. Based on these data the substance has to be considered as poorly biodegradable.
