Key value for chemical safety assessment

LC50 for freshwater fish:
100 mg/L

Additional information

A 96-hour acute toxicity study with fathead minnows was conducted as part of a simultaneous toxicity study using seven species, one vertebrate and six invertebrates. The test was conducted at two nominal concentrations, 10 and 100 mg/L in a static test. Analytical verification of the exposure concentrations was not conducted as the substance is not volatile and has a low tendency for sorption. No mortality was observed in the control or test concentrations. The 96 hour LC50 was > 100 mg/L and the NOEC was≥ 100 mg/L.
