Additional information

Chronic toxicity studies on terrestrial organisms (such as OECD 226 or OECD 232) may become relevant if a refinemement of the PNECsoil is necessary. However, the available soil toxicity studies according to OECD 216 and OECD 222 revealed no acute and no chronic toxicity on both earthworms and soil nitrogen transforming bacteria. Therefore, no hazard was identified for the soil compartment and there is no need for derivation of a PNECsoil. As a consequence, no additional studies on terrestrial organisms are considered as relevant.
