Description of key information

The loading rate of test item causing a 50 % of mortality at 96h (LL50) was estimated to be higher than 100 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The acute toxicity (assessed by lethality) of the test item to Danio rerio (freshwater fish) for a duration of 96 hours was assessed according to the OECD Guideline 203. According to the results of the preliminary test, fish were exposed under static conditions to 100 mg/L of the test item dissolved in dilution water (limit test).

As noeffects were observed, the effect loading rates killing 50 % of fish at 24h, 48h, 72h and 96h (LL50-24h, 48h, 72h and 96h) were higher than the highest loading rate tested (100 mg/L).
