Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Log Kow > 6 OECD guideline 117 (HPLC method)
Log Kow = 13.15-16.01 estimated with Kowwin (v1.68) QSAR for the three first constituents listed in section 1.2 of IUCLID.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
16.01

Additional information

The octanol/water partition coefficient of a complex reaction product (20231250) was experimentally measured in accordance with OECD testing 117 guideline and GLP requirements. Only a limit value of Log Kow > 6 was obtained.

Based on this result, QSAR (Kowwin v1.68) was run to appraise fixed values for the three first components listed in section 1.2 of IUCLID.

The Log Kow values obtained with the Kowwin QSAR (v1.68) ranged from 13.15 to 16.01.

The higher value of n-octanol/water partition coefficient (Log Kow = 16.01) in the range representing more than 85% of all the components is used for chemical safety assessment (CSA). This value is used as a worse-case value, increase of n-octanol/water partition coefficient value leading to a significant increase of Predicted Environmental Concentration in sediments and soil.
