Executive summary:

A Mettler Toledo Model DA-11 0 M Density/Specific Gravity meter (Serial number NJB59878) was used. It uses a resonance method for liquid density determination. Sample is oscillated in a glass tube and mass/density is calculated from measured resonance frequency. Milli-Q water was used to verify correct operation of the instrument. The measured density was less than 0.001 g/cm3 different than the accepted value, and the density meter was considered acceptable for use. The density of the test article was 1.040 g/cm3 at 25.0°C.

Two reliable density studies are available for the substance. Density values of 1.040 g/cm3 at 25°C and 1.0383 g/cm3 at 25°C were determined for the substance with the use of an oscillating densitometer in accordance with OECD Test Guideline 109 and in compliance with GLP. The results are considered to be reliable and are used as weight of evidence.
