Additional information

No data investigating the short-term or long-term toxicity of Reaction product of fatty acids C14-18/C16-18 unsaturated with dihydrogendioxide and ammonia are available. The test substance is not supposed to be directly applied to soil and an indirect exposure to soil via the atmosphere or sewage sludge transfer is unlikely since the substance has a low vapor pressure (< 11 Pa at 20 °C), a low adsorption potential (log Koc < 1.25) and is readily biodegradable (> 80% in 30 days). For a substance being considered as “readily biodegradable”, it can be assumed that it will be biodegraded within the STP process and as a consequence a transfer to the soil compartment is not expected. Therefore, in accordance with Annex IX, column 2 (9.4) of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, no tests on terrestrial organisms are provided.
