The determination of the auto-ignition temperature of the test item FAT 40045/Z TE was performed in accordance with the EEC Directive Annex V of 67/548 Test A.15 Auto-ignition temperature for liquids. The auto-ignition temperature is the lowest temperature at which the test substance will ignite when mixed with air under the conditions defined in the test method. Apparatus used was according to DIN 51794. No auto-ignition was observed till 550 °C. Hence, the auto-ignition temperature of the test item is >550 °C.
