Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Biodegradation in water has been based on QSAR model.

The substance was predicted to be NON Readily Biodegradable, but the result may be not reliable. The predicted compound is outside the Applicability Domain of the model.

However, basing on the molecula structure is possible to assume that the presence of fluorine lead to at least part of molecule not readily biodegradable. Thereofre, VRT-1097043 has been considered as not readily biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
not biodegradable
Type of water:
other: Not specified, the value of biodegradability was based on QSAR model.
