Key result
Remarks on result:
no flash point - measurement carried out until boiling temperature
Remarks:
No flash point was detected up to boiling stage of 96.9 °C, the flash-point tester was stopped as no temperature increased was observed.

ObservationsTemperatures in °C
Condensate was visiblefrom 34
Individual bubble visiblefrom 90
Bubble chain (Boiling), heating plate was turned off103
The chain of bubbles broke101.6
Conclusions:
A pre-test was performed using a flashpoint tester. In the pre-test, no flash point was detected. Heating was performed up to 96.9 °C. At this temperature, boiling was observed and the flashpoint tester was stopped as the temperature increased no more.

Therefore, no flash point can be stated for the test item Kombucha. The determination was considered valid.

Description of key information
