Preliminary test

The lowest auto-ignition temperature was found around 275 °C (corrected value) with a volume of 150 μL. Time lag was 106 seconds, atmospheric pressure was 97.9 kPa, and 34% relative humidity.

Main test

The volume of test item injected in the oven was 150 μL.

For safety reasons, the retained Ignition temperature was the lowest temperature at which ignition occurs, i.e. 274 °C ± 3 °C (corrected temperature ± accuracy).

Conclusions:
This parameter/method is not relevant for classification, however the information is useful regarding process safety and potential additional fire hazard. No particular hazard is anticipated in normal conditions of storage.
Executive summary:

The auto-ignition temperature of the test substance was measured according to NF T 20-037 method (listed in EU A15 guideline).

Test material was injected into a heated flask, until the lowest temperature at which ignition occurs was determined. The relevant parameters (volume, time lag, atmospheric pressure) were recorded for the final result. The lowest value of five consistent replicates was retained.

The test substance has been determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 274 °C.
