First-aid measures

Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
Eye Contact: Immediately flush the eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician. Get medical attention if irritation or other symptoms exist.
Inhalation: No specific treatment is necessary since this material is not likely to be hazardous by inhalation. If exposed to excessive levels remove to fresh air andget medical attention if cough or other symptoms develop.
Ingestion: Minimal risk of harm if swallowed. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately. Provide medical care provider with the MSDS. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Fire-fighting measures

Material may burn, but does not ignite readily.
Appropriate Extinguishing Media: Carbon dioxide Dry chemical Alcohol foam Water spray
Hazardous Products of Combustion: Carbon dioxide, Carbon monoxide Dense Smoke
Basic Fire Fighting Guidance: Evacuate area and fight fire from a safe distance. Wear pressure-demand self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective gear.

Accidental release measures

Evacuation Procedures: Isolate the hazard area and deny entry to unnecessary and unprotected personnel.
Personal precautions: Remove all contaminated clothing to prevent further absorption. Leather shoes that have been saturated must be discarded.
Environmental precautions: Prevent releases to soils, drains, sewers, and waterways.
Containment Techniques and Clean-up Procedures: Isolate hazard area. Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel from entering. Remove all
ignition sources. Ventilate the area of spill or leak. Wear protective equipment during clean-up. For small spills, use suitable absorbent material and collect for later disposal. For large spills, the area may require diking to contain the spill. Isolate the spill area. Stop the leak if it is safe to do so. Material can then be collected (eg., suction) for later disposal. After collection of material, flush area with water. Retain all contaminated water for treatment.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Wear appropriate protective equipment when performing maintenance on contaminated equipment. Wash hands thoroughly before eating or smoking after handling this material.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: This product should be stored at ambient temperature in a dry, well-ventilated location. Keep
container closed when not in use.
Dangerous Incompatibility Reactions: Oxidizing materials

Exposure controls / personal protection

Control parameters: No occupational exposure limits have been established for this product.
Engineering Controls: All appropriate engineering controls should be used to minimize exposure potential. All operations should be conducted in well-ventilated conditions. Local exhaust ventilation should be provided. Use exhaust ventilation to keep airborne concentrations below exposure limits.
Personal Protective Equipment: Impervious gloves, boots, and clothing, chemical goggles or face shield where necessary, and an approved chemical cartridge respirator or supplied air breathing apparatus. Air-purifying respirators must not be used in oxygen-deficient atmospheres.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity: Not classified as dangerously reactive.
Chemical stability: Stable
Possibility of hazardous reactions: Not expected to occur.
Conditions to avoid: Incompatible materials Heat and open flame
Incompatible materials: Oxidizing materials
Hazardous decomposition products: Products of incomplete combustion may include CO, CO2 and dense smoke.

Disposal considerations

Dispose of this material in accordance with standard practice for disposal of potentially hazardous
materials as required by applicable international, national, regional, state or local laws. Do NOT dump
into any sewers, on the ground, or into any body of water. For disposal within the EC, the appropriate
code according to the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) should be used. Note that disposal
regulations may also apply to empty containers and equipment rinsates.
