Results
A very small response at the retention time of the test item was detected in the chromatogram of the test sample. This response was significantly below the response of the lowest calibration concentration of 0.76 mg/L
Main study
The results for the samples taken at 24, 48 and 72 hours are given inTable 6andTable 7for the low and high loading rate respectively.
No test item was detected at either loading rates. The water solubility is therefore reported as lower than the limit of detection (LOD). The LOD was determined to be 0.000039 mg/L, this corresponds with 0.000078 mg/L when taking a dilution factor of 2 into account.
Since no test item was detected in the test samples, undissolved test item was sampled from a high loading rate water phase, diluted and analysed. A peak was observed at the retention time of the test item
No test item was detected in the pretreated sample from the blank water mixture.
