Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of the test item was determined in accordance with OECD TG 104. The experimentally-determined vapour pressure of the test item at 20°C was not in the recommended range of 1 to 1000 mbars for DSC measurements. Therefore an estimation procedure in accordance with OECD TG 104 was used (Grain-Watson method). This method is applied for vapour pressures between 10E03 to 10E-07 mbar. The estimated vapour pressure is <= 6.3 Pa at 20°C and <= 60 Pa at 50°C.

The vapour pressure of the test item was determined in accordance with OECD TG 104. A measured vapour pressure is available for Phosphoric acid, C4 and C12-14(even numbered) alkyl esters. Since this substance contains similar chain lengths as the C8 -12 esters, and in addition, a significant proportion of C4 esters, this measured result is considered to be more representative of the likely vapour pressure of the substance and is adopted for exposure assessment.
