Results

The sample was degassed under vacuum. The measurements started at the initial temperature and the temperature was increased stepwise.

Calculated pressure: 20 °C, 3.8E-03 Pa

The vapour pressure of the test item at 20 °C was calculated by mathematical extrapolation using the Antoine equation. It was determined to 3.8 x 10-3Pa3.8E-05 hPa (at 20 °C).

Antoine equation:

ln p [kPa] = A – B / (T [K] – C)

After the completion of the measurements, crystalline residues of the test item were found under the furnace lid. Enamelled parts were seen at the bottom of the apparatus. It was concluded that the test item melted during the measurement.

The vapour pressure of the test item was determined according to OECD guideline no. 104 [adopted on 23 March 2006] and EU test method A.4 [Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008] with the vapour pressure balance. It was determined to be equal to 3.8E-05 hPa.
