First-aid measures
- General advice: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Ensure that the First Aid Personnel are aware of the product involved, and take precautions to protect themselves (e.g. wear personal protection equipment).
- Following inhalation: Remove to fresh air.
- Following skin contact: Remove contaminated clothes. Wash with soap and water. If irritation/effects occur, seek medical advice.
- Following eye contact: Flush eyes with water at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if eye irritation develops or persists.
- Following ingestion: If swallowed, call a poison control centre or doctor immediately. Treat symptomatically.
- Most important symptoms and effects: The substance is classified as skin sensitiser. In case of symptoms appear seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: water spray jet; dry powder; carbon dioxide; alcohol-resistent foam
Special hazards from the substance itself, its combustion products or from its vapours: In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Carbon monoxide (CO), Carbon dioxide (CO2), Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Special protective equipment for firefighting: Use self-containing breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions: Do not allow entry to drains, water courses or soil.
Methods for cleaning up/ taking up: Take up mechanically
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling: Skin contact during handling of the substance should be kept to a minimum. The equipment is exclusively handled by trained staff using personal protective equipment and all procedures are controlled by documented working instructions.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion: The product is not easily combustible, does not add to the spreading or fire, is not self combustible nor is it explosive.
Further information on storage conditions: Keep container thightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection
1. Technical protection measures: Local ventilation recommended - mechanical ventilation may be used.
2. Organisational protection measures: Observe the usual precautions for handling chemicals. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash hands before breaks and after work. Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately and clean thoroughly before using again.
3. Hand protection: Use impermeable, CE-approved gloves for the manipulation of chemical products. Observe the information of the glove manufactures on permeability and breakthough times and other workplpace requirements.
4. Feet protection: Wear suitable working equipment.
5. Body protection: Wear suitable working equipment.
6. Eye protection: Depending on the risk, wear sufficient eye protection (safety glasses with side protection or goggles, and if necessary, face shield.)
7. Respiratory protection: Local ventilation to keep levels below established threshold values is recommended. In case of prolonged exposure to airborne dust concentrations, a suitable particle filter mask that complies with the requirements of national legislation is recommended, depending on the expected exposure levels.
Stability and reactivity
Thermal decomposition: no decomposition until 400°C
Hazardous reactions: When handled and stored appropriately no dangerous reactions are expected
Hazardous decomposition products: When handled and stored appropiately, no dangerous decomposition products are expected.
Disposal considerations
Industrial disposal considerations: Product should be taken to a suitable and authorized waste disposal site in accordance with relevant regulations and if neccessary after consultation with the waste disposal operator and/or the Competent Authorities.
Uncleaned packaging: Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste.
Public disposal considerations: Not relevant, since substance is not available for the general public.
