Description of key information

In a study investigating the stability of the test item in aqueous solution conducted with LC/MS-MS and LCQToF, the test item could not be detected. Its hydrolysis product 2-(1,3-dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2H-isoindol-2-yl) ethane-1-sulfonic acid was clearly detected by both techniques. Thus, it can be assumed that the test item hydrolysis fast and complete in less than a minute and studies involving aqueous solutions of the test item are therefore not feasible for the test item. Half-life or hydrolysis rate could not be determined due to rapid degradation.
