Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Seek medical attention if you feel unwell
or if exposure is prolonged.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least
10 minutes. In case of irritation please seek for medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothes. Wash affected skin with sopa
and plenty of water for at least 10 minutes. In case of
dermatitis, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Drink plenty of water. Seek
medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Waterspray, foam, powder, carbon dioxide.
Product arising from burning: Carbon and nitrogen oxides.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Self contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Take up spilt substance with suitable absorbent material.
Put into labelled containers for disposal as chemical waste.
Flush small residues away with water.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid ingestion, inhalation, skin and eye contact. Handle in
accordance with good industrial hygiene practice and any
legal requirements
Storage: Store in sealed bottles, in a cool and dry area with
adequate ventilation, temperature should not be higher than
25 °C.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Purification of the test item by recrystallization in xylol may
be a possibility to recover the substance and reuse it.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Damp down. Avoid dust. Scoop into marked containers for
disposal as chemical waste. Prevent entry into drains and
surface waters.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Treatment as chemical waste; incineration. Contaminated,
empty containers must be disposed of as chemical waste.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Substance has no explosive properties and does not contain
halogens. Apart from normal good operational practice, no
special measures must be taken.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Upon unintential discharge into sewage treatment plant,
substance is adsorbed unto sludge. Sludge can be
incinerated.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: Any contaminated waste can be incinerated as chemical waste.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: No.
