Results
According to the certificate of analysis, the test item contained approx. 7.2 % water. Therefore, the test item was dried under vacuum at 50 °C for about 42 h until the weight of the test item was constant.
A measurement chamber with a volume of Vc = 7.8961 cm3 and an expansion chamber with a volume of Vr = 6.0848 cm3 were used. Two test series with different weights were performed at ambient temperature (20.1 °C).The measurements showed a slow pressure decrease within the closed measurement chamber after the application of Helium. This pressure decrease was assumed to result from a gas adsorption of the test item. Because of the observed pressure decrease, the measurements were performed after an adjustment time to reach a constant pressure (about 13 to 30 minutes before measuring p1and about 7 to 12 minutes before measuring p2). For results see Table 1and Table 2.

Description of key information
The density of the test item was determined according to the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method, A.3. Density of liquids and solids: Gas comparison pycnometer and according to the OECD test guideline, OECD 109 Density of liquids and solids.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Relative density at 20C:
- 1.59
