Working range

The calibration curve fits over a range from 2.4 µg/L to 120 µg/L with r² = 1.000. A quadratic fit was used.

Recovery

In the course of the recovery experiment, an average recovery rate of 92.6% was determined.

Study results

The concentrations of the test item in the different test solutions were calculated automatically using the equation of the calibration curve. The results for the duplicate analyses are listed in the following table:

The water solubility at both flow rates (25.0 mL/h and 12.5 mL/h) yielded values below the lowest calibration level (2.4 μg/L). The following value for water solubility of the test item can thus be reported according to test procedure OECD Guideline 105 as:

The water solubility of the test item was determined as < 2.4 μg/L

The water solubility was determined at 20 °C.

The pH value of the collected aqueous fractions was 6.3.

The pH value of HPLC water was 6.3.

Description of key information

< 2.4 µg/L at 20 °C, pH 6.3

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The water solubility of the substance 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediyl didecanoate (CAS 27841-06-1) was determined according to OECD 105 (column elution method).
