Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures:
Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for more than several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical attention.
Skin contact: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation occurs, seek medical attention.
Inhalation of dust: Call a physician if you feel unwell. Rinse respiratory tract.
Ingestion: Call a physician if you feel unwell. Rinse mouth.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: No information available. To the best of our knowledge, the chemical, physical and toxicological properties have not been thoroughly investigated.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: In case of fire, use Water Spray, Dry Chemical Powder/, Carbon Dioxide, or appropriate foam for extinction.
Special hazards arising from the substance: Emits toxic fumes under fire conditions.
Advice for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, rubber boots, and heavy rubber gloves.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear protective equipments mentioned in Section 8. Approach from the windward of evacuated area.
Environmental precautions: Do not release this substance to environment water or field.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Collect in suitable containers for disposal in accordance with local and national legislation.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Handling should be in well ventilated area. Do not scatter dust. Wear appropriate protective equipment. Wash hands, face and rinse respiratory tract after handling.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Avoid the direct sun. Keep container closed at normal temperature. Keep away from strong oxidizing agents. Long time storage should be avoided.
Specific end use(s): To the best of our knowledge, there is no specific use other than described in uses section.
