Administrative data

First-aid measures

- After inhalation:

Supply fresh air.

Seek medical treatment in case of complaints.

- After skin contact:

Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.

If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.

- After eye contact:

Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Then consult a doctor.

- After swallowing:

If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious).

Drink plenty of water and provide fresh air.

Induce vomiting only, if affected person is fully conscious.

Seek medical treatment.

Fire-fighting measures

The product is not flammable. Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture

In case of fire, the following can be released:

Carbon monoxide (CO)

Boron oxide (B2O3)

Wear fully protective equipment;  Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.

- Additional information:

Dispose of fire debris and contaminated fire fighting water in accordance with official regulations.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace.

- General protective and hygienic measures:

Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.

Do not inhale dust / smoke / mist.

Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

Use skin protection cream for skin protection.

- Respiratory protection: Use suitable respiratory protective device when high concentrations are present. Recommended filter device for short term use: Filter P1

- Protection of hands:

Wear suitable protective gloves according EN 371. Material of gloves: Butyl rubber, Nitrile rubber

Value for the permeation: Level ≥ 120 min. (EN 374). The exact break trough time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.

- Eye protection:

Wear safety glasses

- Body protection: Light weight protective clothing

Stability and reactivity

No decomposition if used and stored according to specifications.

As the product is supplied it is not capable of dust explosion; however enrichment with fine dust may cause risk

of dust explosion.

Disposal considerations

Hand over to hazardous waste disposer

Non contaminated packagings may be recycled.

Packagings that may not be cleansed are to be disposed of in the same manner as the product.

Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
