Administrative data
First-aid measures
Helpers should ensure their own protection.
Inhalation
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. If appropriate, give artificial respiration or oxygen. Keep exposed to warm. Get medical advice/attention.
Skin contact
Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. IF ON SKIN: Wash with soap and water. Get medical advice/attention.
Eye contact
IF IN EYES: Rinse continuously with water for several minutes. Get medical advice/attention.
Ingestion
Do NOT induce vomiting. If the patient is conscious, give plenty of milk (2 - 4 glasses). Get immediate medical advice/attention.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Aspiration hazard - due to trace solvent, may cause chemical pneumonia, varying degrees of pulmonary injury or death.
Fire-fighting measures
Foam, powder or carbon dioxide
Unsuitable extinguishing media
Water
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
May emit toxic fumes of hydrogen chloride during heating or fire. May emit toxic fumes of oxides of carbon during heating or fire. May emit toxic fumes of oxides of sulphur during heating or fire. May emit toxic fumes of halogenated compounds during heating or fire.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters
Isolating breathing apparatus eg. compressed breathing apparatus and protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Use personal protective equipment as required.
Environmental precautions
Not any specific precautions.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Absorb spillage to prevent material damage. Collect spillage.
Handling and storage
If exposure is possible:
Precautions for safe handling
Handle in well-ventilated space.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Keep container tightly closed. Store in flammable substance storage.
Incompatible materials
Strong bases.

Exposure controls / personal protection
If exposure is possible:
Appropriate engineering controls
Provide sufficient ventilation. Handle in closed systems or use an efficient local exhaust if vapours or mists may release into workplace air. If technical measures cannot prevent exposure, wear personal protective equipment. Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Due to trace solvent: Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces - No smoking. Isolate from ignition sources. Ground/bond container and receiving equipment.
Respiratory protection
Use respirator , filtration ABEK2-P3. In laboratories work in fume hood or under dust control hood.
Hand protection
Use protective gloves (e.g. nitrile or neopren gloves).
Eye protection
Use protective goggles.
Skin protection
Wear protective clothing.
Stability and reactivity
Not reactive under normal use and storage conditions.
Chemical stability
Stable under normal conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions
No dangerous reactions under normal use and storage conditions.
Conditions to avoid
Heat
Incompatible materials
Strong bases
Hazardous decomposition products
May emit toxic fumes of hydrogen chloride during heating or fire. May emit toxic fumes of oxides of carbon during heating or fire. May emit toxic fumes of oxides of sulphur during heating or fire.
