Description of key information
In accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH) Annex VII Column 2 (Specific Rules for Adaptation from Column 1), it is considered justified to omit the Surface Tension study (required in Section 7.6) if the water solubility of the substance is below 1 mg/L at 20 ºC. The solubility was determined to be 0.160 mg/L at 19.8 ± 0.2 °C in the submitted study (Baltussen 2013b). Furthermore surface activity is neither expected/predicted and surface activity is not a desired property of the material.
