Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information: If symptoms persist or in case of doubt, seek medical advice.
After inhalation: Supply fresh air; consult a doctor in case of pain.
After skin contact: Wash with water and soap. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
After eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
After swollowing: Rinse mouth with water. Do not induce voimiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconcious person. Seek medical treatment.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: No further relevant information available.
Indication for any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: Symptomatic treatment.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing agents: Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Extinguishing powder, foam.
Use firefighting measures that suit the environment.
For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents: High volume water jet.
Special hazards arising from the substance: In case of fire, the following can be released: Noxious gases/vapours.
Advice for firefighters:
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency-procedures
Product forms slippery surface when combined with water. Avoid formation of dust. Wear protective clothing.
Environmental precautions: No special measures required.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Pick up mechanically. Avoid any dust formation.
Pick up with tested and approved industrial vacuum cleaner if necessary.
Make sure to recyle or dispose of in suitable receptacles.
Methods for cleaning up: Use mechanical handling equipment.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Prevent formation of dust. Any deposit of dust which cannot be avoided must be regularly removed.
Information about protection against explosions and fires:
Dust can combine with air to form an explosive mixture. Keep ignition sources away. Do not smoke. Protect against electrstatic charges.
Observe the general rules of industrial fire protection.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Storage:
Requirements to be met by storerooms ans receptacles:
Store container tightly sealed at a cool and dry place with sufficient ventilation.
Information about storage in one common storage facility: Store away from foodstuff. Store away from feed.
Further information about storage conditions: None.
Storage class: 11 Combustible solids.

Additional information
- Special provisions / remarks / other:
- No dangerous good
Exposure controls / personal protection
Precautions for safe handling:
Additional information about design of technical systems: Install appropriate mechanical ventilation.
Control parameters:
Components with limit values that require monitoring at the workplace: Not required.
Additional information: Observe general threshold limit for dust. The lists that were valid during the creation were used as basis.
Exposure controls:
Personal protective equipment:
General protective and hygienic measures: Use skin protection cream for skin protection. Vacuum contaminated clothing.
Do not blow or brush off contaminants.
Breathing equipment:
Not required under normal use.
At formation of dust: Short term filter device: Filter P1, Filter P2
Breathing equipment is only to be used in order to handle the residual risk of short term jobs if all other risk minimising measures have been carried out e.g. retention and/or local exhaust.
Protection of hands:
Chemical resistant gloves.
The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the substance.
Due to missing tests no recommendation to the glove material can be given for the substance.
Selection of the glove material in consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation.
Material of gloves: For undissolved solid substances the following materials may be suitable:
Nitrile rubber (NBR, thickness: 0,35mm); Permeation time: >= 480 minutes). Butyl rubber (BR, thickness 0,5mm); Permeation time >= 480 minutes.
Eye protection: Safety glasses.
Body protection: Protective work clothing.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity:
Chemical stability:
Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: No decomposition, if used and stored according to specifications.
Possibility of dangerous reactions: No dangerous reactions known.
Conditions to avoid: Heat, dirt, chemical contamination, sunlight, UV or ionizing radiation.
No hazardous decomposition products if instructions for storage and handling are followed.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods:
Recommendation: Disposal according to instructions of local authorities.
Unclead packagings:
Recommendation: Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
