Conclusions:
The partition coefficient of the test substance was determined to be 1.79 at 21.9 °C.
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient of the test substance was determined according to OECD Guideline 117 and EU Method A.8 by the HPLC method. The test was performed with a concentration of 10 mg/L of the test item in 35% acetonitrile : 65 % HPLC water. Samples of the test item were analysed via HPLC on a C18 column with diode array detection. Calibration was performed using seven reference items with known log Pow values. A mean log Pow value of 1.79 at 21.9 °C was determined for the test substance.

Description of key information

Partition coefficient of the test item was determined to be log Pow = 1.79 at 21.9 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

at the temperature of:
21.9 °C

Additional information

The octanol-water partition coefficient of the substance was determined according to OECD 117 by the HPLC method. A log Pow value of 1.79 at 21.9 °C was determined for the test substance and is considered as reliable.
