Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media: Extinguish with alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder or water fog.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.
- Hazardous combustion products: Oxides of Carbon and Nitrogen.
- Advice for fire fighter: Wear positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and appropriate protective clothing.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions: Wear suitable protective clothing and eye/face protection.
- Protective equipment and emergency procedures: Avoid generation of dust, mist or aerosols. Provide adequate ventilation.
