Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin contact: Wash immediately abundantly with water, remove clothes and shoes contaminated by the product. Wash clothes before re-use. Clean carefully before putting them back. In case of irritation, consult a doctor.
Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical attention
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with plenty of water. Call a poison center or doctor if you feel unwell.
Fire-fighting measures
Inappropriate extinguishing media: Not available
Particular dangers, products of combustion: Toxic fumes of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides.
Protection against fire: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Don’t breathe vapours in case of fire.
Accidental release measures
Emergency procedures: Take away any source of inflammation, have a good ventilation, evacuate the high-risk area
Environmental precautions : Do not dispose to the sewer, nor in the natural environment
Cleaning procedures: Absorb with sand or vermiculite. Collect spilled material, and place in a bag for disposal. Wash spill site with copious amounts of water and hold for waste disposal.
Handling and storage
Appropriate technical measures: Ventilation recommended. Local exhaust required.
When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Wear suitable protective clothing: goggles, anti-solvent gloves, gas mask with polyvalent filter (for organic and basic vapor). Avoid inhalation of vapor or mist.
Recommendations against the fires and the explosions:
Advises for industrial hygiene:
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke in working area
- Hands wash himself after every use
- Remove the contaminated clothes and the equipment of protection before entering the canteen
Storage :
Appropriate technical measures: Not available
Conditions of storage: Store in a cool dry place. Keep tightly closed. Recommended storage temperature 2 to 8°C.
Incompatibles materials: Strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, chloride acid, anhydride acid and chloroformates.
Packaging materials : Polyethylene drum

Exposure controls / personal protection
Individual protective measures: Wear protective equipment (Gas mask with polyvalent filter, Anti-solvent gloves, Safety goggles, Working protection).
Other protections: Use local exhaust. Safety shower and eye bath.
Advises for industrial hygiene:
Do not eat, drink, or smoke in working area
Hands wash himself after handling the material
Remove the contaminated clothes and the equipment of protection before entering the canteen
Specific advises for the equipment of individual protection against the fire and the chemical risks : See chapter 5
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability: The product is stable in normal conditions of temperature and pressure.
Hazardous reactions: Not available
Conditions to be avoided: Avoid contact with air and carbon dioxide.
Incompatibility : Not available
Hazardous decomposition products : The product may induce CO, CO2, and nitrogen oxides
Disposal considerations
Apply all the relevant local community regulation concerning the waste
