Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
Immediately call a physician.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash off with plenty of water and soap.
Immediately call a physician.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water. Immediately
call a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide / carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: In case of fire use self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Wear personal protective equipment. Unprotected persons must
be kept away.
Sweep or vacuum up spillage and collect in suitable
containers for disposal.
Dispose according local regulations.
Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer systems.
Handling and storage
Handling: All working methods must always be designed so that exposure by inhalation of the substance is minimized. Skin and eye contact with the substance should be avoided. As far as possible, closed, or at least dustproof, equipment should be used during filling, transfer and metered feeding as well as during sampling. In the case of handling in open systems, any dust that can form must be extracted directly at the point of origin. If technical extraction or ventilation measures are not possible or are insufficient, respiratory protection (e.g. s. below) should be worn. To avoid skin contact, the wearing of tested protective gloves (e.g. s. below) and, if applicable, suitable protective clothing (e.g. s. below) is recommended as is the wearing of eye protection to avoid eye contact (e.g. s. below). Due to the potential dust-explosion risk, if dust can form, potential ignition sources should be removed from the work area. In addition, measures should be taken to prevent electrostatic discharges . Personal precautions while handling the solid product: respiratory protection: Half mask, filter FFP2 eye protection: safety goggles EN 166 hand protection: gloves made of nitrile rubber protective clothing: 1st layer cotton suit, 2nd layer Tyvek full suit Avoid skin and eye contact. Wash hands and face before breaks and immediately after handling the product. Keep away from heat and sources of ignition. Keep working clothes separately. Storage: Apply the VCI concept for the Mixed Storage of Chemicals. Store in the original container. Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Do not store in heat or sunlight. Keep away from food, drink an animal feedingstuffs. Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Drum, 50 kg.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Respiratory Protection: Wear respirator with a particle filter mask (protection factor 20 conforming to European Norm EN149FFP3 or EN140P3 or equivalent.
Respiratory protection: should only be used to control residual risk of short duration activities, when all reasonably practicable steps have been taken to reduce exposure at source e.g. containment and/or local extract ventilation. Always follow respirator manufacturer's instructions regarding wearing and maintenance.
Hand protection: Wear CE Marked (or equivalent) nitrile rubber gloves (minimum thickness 0,40 mm). Wash when contaminated. Dispose of when contaminated inside, when perforated or when contamination outside cannot be removed. Wash hands always before eating, drinking, smoking or using the toilet.
Eye protection: Wear goggles conforming to EN166 (Field of Use 5 or equivalent).
Skin and body protection: Wear standard coverall and type 5 suit. Wear two layers of clothing wherever possible. Polyester/cotton or cotton overalls should be worn under chemical protection suit and should be professionally laundered frequently. If chemical protection suit is splashed, sprayed or significantly
contaminated, decontaminate as far as possible, then carefully remove and dispose of as advised by manufacturer.
Hygiene measures
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
Keep working clothes separately.
Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product.
Remove soiled clothing immediately and clean thoroughly before using again.
Garments that cannot be cleaned must be destroyed (burnt).
Stability and reactivity
Chemical reaction with water: None known.
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Incineration.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration in an industrial incinerator.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Treatment in an industrial waste water treatment plant.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: None.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable.
