First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 10
minutes. If irritation persists seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with soap and water. Remove contaminated
clothing. If irritation persists seek medical advice.

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide may be used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,
nitrogen and sulfur.

apparatus must be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (see 2.3.1).
Avoid dust formation by damping down with water. Absorb
spillages of solutions with a suitable inert material (eg
sand or soil). Carefully transfer the spillage to labelled
waste containers, or use a sealed industrial vacuum machine.
Dispose of waste material by incineration in accordance with
local regulations.
Clean the spillage area with water and detergent. Do not
discharge washings to drain.
Handling and storage
Handling: The substance should be stored, handled and used in
conditions of good industrial hygiene and in conformity with
any local regulations in order to avoid exposure by skin
contact. Ensure adequate ventilation.
When exposure cannot be prevented or adequately controlled
appropriate personal protective clothing, gloves, safety
goggles and dust mask should be worn conforming to the
appropriate international or national standards.
Storage: Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dry and
well-ventilated area.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The initial disperse dye preparation is packed in heavy duty
moulded plastic, open top 200 litre containers provided with
inset lid and closure ring.
The marketed dye preparation is packed in 25kg boxes.
