First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures-In case of skin contact:Immediately take off all contaminated clothing.OBTAIN IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION.Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose off safely. After contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and plenty of water.-In case of eyes contact:After contact with the eyes, rinse with water with the eyelids open for a sufficient length of time, then consult an opthalmologist immediately.Protect uninjured eye.-In case of Ingestion:Do NOT induce vomiting.Give nothing to eat or drink.-In case of Inhalation:If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. In case of inhalation, consult a doctor immediately and show him packing or label. Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayedNone known to dateIndication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment neededIn case of accident or unwellness, seek medical advice immediately (show directions for use or safety data sheet if possible).Treatment: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media- Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, foam, powder and CO2.- Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: Direct water jet.Special hazards arising from the substance or mixtureDo not inhale explosion and combustion gases.Burning produces heavy smoke.Products of combustion include carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2) and chlorine.Advice for firefightersUse suitable breathing apparatus .Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.Move undamaged containers from immediate hazard area if it can be done safely.
Accidental release measures
-Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency proceduresWear personal protection equipment.Remove all sources of ignition.Wear breathing apparatus if exposed to vapours/dusts/aerosols.Provide adequate ventilation.Use appropriate respiratory protection.-Environmental precautionsDo not allow to enter into soil/subsoil. Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.Retain contaminated washing water and dispose it.In case of gas escape or of entry into waterways, soil or drains, inform the responsible authorities.Suitable material for taking up: absorbing material, organic, sand-Methods and material for containment and cleaning upWash with plenty of water.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handlingAvoid contact with skin and eyes, inhalation of vapours and mists.Use localized ventilation system.Don't use empty container before they have been cleaned. Before making transfer operations, assure that there aren't any incompatible material residuals in the containers.Contamined clothing should be changed before entering eating areas.Do not eat or drink while working.Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilitiesVentilate where the product is stored and manipulated.Store in a dry, well ventilated place away from sources of heat, ignition and direct sunlight.Store in a cool place.Use with adequate ventilation.Recommended storage temperature <50 °C.Avoid the accumulation of electrostatic charges.Keep away from unguarded flame, sparks, and heat sources. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight.Keep away from food, drink and feed.-Incompatible materials: Oxidizing agents and acids. Strong alkaline agents Avoid contact with combustible materials. The product could catch fire. Full water jet.-Instructions as regards storage premises: Cool and adequately ventilated.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Eye protection: Safety glasses with side protection for chemicals (EN166).Protection for skin: Chemical protection clothing. Use clothing that provides a full protection to the skin.Protection for hands: Use protective gloves according to EN 374 standards, on the base of the intended use (penetration and permeation). Suitable gloves type: PVA (Polyvinyl alcohol) and NBR (nitrile rubber). Replace gloves immediately in case of degradation.Respiratory protection: Provide an adequate ventilation. It must be ensured a good ventilation and good general ventilarion exchange system. Self-contained respirator (DIN EN 133).Thermal Hazards: Flammable mixture.Environmental exposure controls: Containers may be hazardous when empty since they retain product residues. Do not allow uncontrolled leakage of product into the environment. Where exposure through inhalation may occur from use, respiratory protection equipment is recommended.Appropriate engineering controls: None
Stability and reactivity
ReactivityKeep away from (strong) acids.Keep away from oxidizing agents.Chemical stabilityThe product is stable at normal handling- and storage conditions.Possibility of hazardous reactionsRefer to section 10.1 on Reactivity.Conditions to avoidEliminate ignition sources.Take precautionary measures against static discharges.Avoid direct sunlight.Keep at temperature not exceeding 50°C.Incompatible materialsOxidizing agents and acids.Strong alkaline agentsAvoid contact with combustible materials. The product could catch fire.Full water jet.Hazardous decomposition productsProducts of combustion include carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2).Chlorine.
Disposal considerations
Recover, if possible. Send to authorised disposal plants or for incineration under controlled conditions. In so doing, comply with the local and national regulations currently in force.
