The measured lowest ignition temperatures of the main test are < 300 °C anddo not differ by more than 10 °C, thus the test is satisfactory. the autoignition temperature is defined as the lowest temperature of all single results of the main test, but rounded down to multiples of 5 °C.

Description of key information
Autoignition temperature: 195 to 200 °C based on 2 studies, both EU method A15, DIN 51794.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
- 195 °C
Additional information
Two studies are available in which the auto-ignition temperature has been determined according to EU method A15 and DIN 51794.
In the first study (2011 -288), no ignition was observed at a temperature of 199 °C. The lowest temperature giving a positive effect was 204 °C. According to the guidelines the lowest temperature was rounded off to the nearest multiple of 5 °C. Therefore the auto-ignition temperature of the test item was considered to be 200 ± 10 °C. The +/- 10 °C refers to the reproducibility of the method as specified by the guideline. In the second study (T10354), the autoignition temperature was determined to be 195 °C. This lower temperature has been used for the puposes of the CSA.
