Flammability:
non flammable

Additional information

- Upon ignition the test substance melted and a colourless melt remained.

- In addition the flash point of test substance was determined to be 232°C at 1013 hPa according to EN22719

- The substance has no pyrophoric properties and does not liberate flammable gases on contact with water

Justification for classification or non-classification

- Upon ignition the substance could not be ignited and additionally the flash point was determined to be 232°C according to EN 22719

-The substance has no pyrophoric properties and does not liberate flammable gases on contact with water

The theoretical assessments of pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are based on section R.7.1.10 of Guidance chapter R.7a of REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.

It can be concluded that the substance is not to be classified as flammable material
