First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek immediate

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water. Seek immediate medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, carbon dioxide or dry powder should be

used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and

phosphorus.

Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and a self-contained breathing

apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1).

Sweep up spill or collect using an industrial vacuum

cleaner. Transfer to labelled containers and dispose of  by

incineration in accordance with local regulations. Wash  the

spill site with water, avoiding run-off.

Handling and storage

Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic

chemicals. Ensure adequate ventilation. An air suit,

impervious gloves and rubber boots should be worn.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place in sealed containers (eg. lined

with double polyethylene bags) away from acids.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Packed in polythene bag inside clearly labelled sealed kegs.
