Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The analogue “Fatty acid, tall-oil, reaction products with diethylenetriamine, maleic anhydride, tetraethylenepentamine” caused 0.5% mortality to zebra fish after 96-hours of exposure at the nominal product concentration of 100 mg/L in a static test (Chemservice 2010b).
The NOEC, LOEC and LC50 values after 96 h, calculated based on the nominal concentration, were assessed to be as follows:
96 h NOEC: 100.0 mg/L
96 h LOEC: > 100.0 mg/L
96 h LC50: > 100.0 mg/L
96 h LC50: > 100.0 mg/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The LC50 (>100 mg/L as loading rate) is derived for an analogue substance. The rationale for read across can be found in chapter 13
