Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Studies on three trophic levels performed on a water accommodated fraction are available for the analogue, all indicating an LC/EC50 above water solubility (Chemservice 2010b, Chemservice 2010c, Chemservice 2010d)

For the test substance the daphnia study on a WAF indicated no toxicity at the level of quantification of the analytical method (0.010 mg/L) (Harlan 2012e). For algae the NOEC was 0.020 mg/L based on measured concentrations (study performed with WAF) (Harlan 2010f). In a daphnia reproduction study (Envigo 2016) performed on the substance itself no toxicity was observed at a loading rate of 100 mg/L (measured concentrations were below the LOQ (0.021 mg/L).

The water solubility will be used as starting point for the derivation of the PNECaqua.

Toxicity to microorganisms was assessed for the analogue (Chemservice 2010e) and the NOEC of 100 mg/L is considered suitable to start the evaluation of the test substance.

The rationale for read across can be found in chapter 13.
