2 -Phenylethyl cyanoacrylate is a reactive monomer that polymerizes in presence of moisture under usual working conditions. Polymerization can only be avoided by keeping the compound in a moisture-free, closed system. Due to quick polymerisation on contact with water, no hazard is assigned to the monomer.
