Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

With high probability acutely not harmful to daphnids, no toxic effects occur at the range of water solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In a short-term toxicity study of the test substance on daphnids (24h) no toxic effects occured at the highest test concentration of nominally 100 mg/L (CIBA-GEIGY 1986c). Although there was evidence of an immediate precipitation, it can be assumed that there was no toxicity in the range of the low water solubility (< 0.499 mg/L) of the test substance. Therefore, the test substance is considered not to be harmful to daphnids.
