First-aid measures

Eye Contact:- Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.

Skin Contact:- Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water. If skin irritation occurs, seek medical advice/attention.

Ingestion:- Rinse mouth with water and afterwards drink plenty of water or milk. Induce vomiting but only iof the victim is fully concious. Immediate medical attention is required. Never give anything to an unconcious person.

Inhalation:- If inhaled, remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.

Fire-fighting measures

Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemcial or carbon dioxide.

Do not use high volume water jet (which could raise an aerosol)

Fire fighters should wear self contained breathing apparatus and protective suit

Accidental release measures

Soak up small spillages with inert absorbant material and collect in waste container for disposal. Clean contaminated surface thoroughly.

Do not allow spillages to enter drains or water courses. In the case of large spillages, contain the spill using absorbant booms, sand etc and reomve the spill when it is safe to do so

Handling and storage

Avoid any contact with skin and eyes. Do not breath vapour. Handle the substance only oin a closed system, or provide appropriate containement including exhaust ventillation at machinery/workstation.

Store in original containers at ambient temperature away from excessive light

Maintain the highest standard of industrial hygiene. Keep equipment clean. Keep workwear clean. Take off workwear when entering food areas. Wash hands before eating.

Exposure controls / personal protection

No established occupational exposure limits.

Keep work wear and private wear separate.

Use protective butyl or nitrile gloves complying with EN 374.

In case of accidents use a respiritory protection mask fitted with and A2/P3 filter
