Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The acute toxicity of 2-Propanol, 1,1'-[[3-[(3-aminopropyl)amino]propyl]imino]bis-, N-tallow alkyl derivatives was evaluated with rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) in a study performed in accordance with OECD testing guideline 203 and GLP requirements. The fish were exposed to nominal test concentrations between 5 to 567 µg/L under semi-static conditions during 96h. Based on the definitive test results, it can be concluded that 2-Propanol, 1,1'-[[3-[(3-aminopropyl)amino]propyl]imino]bis-, N-tallow alkyl derivatives are very toxic to fish with an EC50(96 h) of 78.9 µg/L. After 96 hours, the highest nominal concentration at which no mortality had occurred was 53.2 µg/L and the lowest at which there was 100% mortality was 117 µg/L.

Treatment-related effects were exhibited at 117 µg/L and higher concentrations.Due to the limited amount of analytical data available, the test results have been expressed in terms of the nominal concentrations. It is acknowledged that test results expressed in terms of the nominal values may have under estimated the toxicity of the test substance because the results of chemical analysis (where available) indicated that measured concentrations were not maintained during the definitive test.
