Description of key information
There is no data available for Hydrocarbons, C14-C15, n-alkanes, <2% aromatics. However, data is available for structural analogue, Hydrocarbons, C14 -C19, isoalkanes, cyclics, <2% aromatics. This data is read across to Hydrocarbons, C14 -C15, n-alkanes, <2% aromatics base on analogue read across and a discussion and report on the read across strategy is provided as an attachment in IUCLID Section 13.
In all studies on human volunteers, there were no signs of irritation or sensitisation effects of the test substances.
Additional information
Three studies were available on the irritation and/or sensitisation potential of hydrocarbons, C14 -C19, isoalkanes, cyclics, <2% aromatics in volunteers. Clinical tests were conducted with populations ranging from 29 to 112 patients. None of the test substances elicited any sensitisation and/or irritation effects.
