Additional information

The short-term toxicity to fish of the substance was evaluated in a 96-hour study performed on Danio rerio according to the OECD Guideline 203. This study provided an LC50 value of 63.4 mg/L. Additionally, two supporting acute toxicity to fish studies were used which back up this data.

- A publication on a read-across substance which details a 96 hour study performed on Pimephales promelas according to the Standard Methods for the examination of Water and Waste Water (1960) provided an LC50 value of 225 mg/L.

- An additional 96-hour study also performed on Pimephales promelas using a read-across substance was performed according to the OECD Guideling 203, and provided an LC50 value of 1376 mg/L.

Both supporting studies support the absence of concern for acute toxicity of the substance to fish.
